Fees
Depending on the complexity of your treatment requirements, fees can vary. At the initial dental examination appointment we carefully develop your individual treatment plan in consultation with you and provide detailed estimates of cost. As a guide, the initial fee for this first appointment is approximately $176 including two intra-oral radiographs for early problem detection.
Medicare
Commencing in 2014, the Child Dental Benefit Schedule allows many children between two and seventeen years of age to access dental services in private practice. If eligible, your child is entitled to $1000 of cover over a two calendar year period. The CDBS is means tested, and requires receipt of Family Tax Benefit Part A to be eligible.
The CDBS provides benefits for a good range of services including dental examinations, x-rays, professional cleaning, fillings, and fissure sealants. It does not cover orthodontic or cosmetic dental work. It does not provide any benefit for work provided in a hospital.

Health Insurance
Make an instant claim to your health fund insurer and avoid the forms, queues and waiting for cheques in the mail. Just swipe your Health Insurance Membership Card through our HICAPS facility on the day of your treatment. Since we can immediately make your claim, you are only responsible for the balance or “Gap” payment.

We realise that unforeseen dental needs may put a strain on your financial budget, so we have introduced a range of payment plans which will enable you to complete the dental treatment you desire and need. Payment Requirements
Payment is required at each appointment – cash, credit card, and EFTPOS facilities are available, plus HICAPS for direct billing of your health insurer, meaning you will only need to pay the gap.
Concession Cards
Current holders of the Department of Veterans Affairs, DVA Gold and White Cards , and Seniors Cards are welcome. Jorgensen Mutzelburg Dental is proud to deliver quality dental treatment to Veterans and their families. Holders of DVA cards are able to receive their full treatment entitlement in accordance with the Department of Veterans Affairs schedules.
Members of our community aged 65 or over are eligible for either a Seniors Card or Seniors Business Discount Card, and holders will receive their quality dental treatment at a discounted rate.
