Kurt grew up near a small country town on the Darling Downs, moving to Brisbane for tertiary study in 1998. After graduating with Honours from the University of Queensland School of Dentistry in 2003, Kurt has worked very successfully in private practice on the north side of Brisbane.
Kurt enjoys providing a caring environment to his patients with the highest standards of dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in dental implants, cosmetic smile makeovers, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, sleep disorders and Invisalign Orthodontics.
Dr Kurt Mutzelburg is a member of several professional associations including: the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) was founded in 1972. Devoted to providing implant education to the entire dental team to better serve its patients, the ICOI is the world’s largest provider of continuing dental implant education. Kurt is also a member of the Australian Osseointegration Society (AOS) – a society that brings together people at the forefront of implant dentistry in Australasia.
Kurt and his wife Amy enjoy the great outdoors and share a love of nature, never getting too far away from the bushland of their childhood. Amy and Kurt are proud parents of beautiful girls Elke, Gabriella and Ingrid.
